Der im Westen, aus der inneren Ringmauer herausragende Wehrspeicher erfüllte ursprünglich zwei Funktionen. Einerseits diente er im Belagerungsfall als Depot für Vorräte, andererseits hatte er als Bastei eine wichtige Rolle an der Stelle der Burg, an der es keinen zweiten Mauerring zur Verteidigung gab.

Laut den Erinnerungen der älteren Bewohner hatte der Wehrspeicher im Laufe der Jahrhunderte unterschiedliche Nutzungen: Rathaus, Schule, Küsterwohnung und Gemeinderaum.

Heute befindet sich in dem Raum eine Heimatstube. Zugleich dient er als Treffpunkt der kleinen evangelischen Gemeinde.

RO – BASTIONUL

Depozitul fortificat care iese din zidul interior al cortinei din vest a îndeplinit inițial două funcții. Pe de o parte, servea ca depozit pentru provizii în caz de asediu, iar pe de altă parte, juca un rol important ca bastion în punctul castelului în care nu exista a doua centură de fortificații.

Conform amintirilor locuitorilor în vârstă, depozitul de apărare a avut diverse utilizări de-a lungul secolelor: Primărie, școală, locuință a portarului și sală comunitară.

Astăzi, încăperea găzduiește o expoziție de istorie locală. De asemenea, servește ca loc de întâlnire pentru mica comunitate protestantă.

EN – THE BASTION

The defensive granary protruding from the inner ring wall in the west originally fulfilled two functions. On the one hand, it served as a depot for supplies in the event of a siege; on the other hand, it played an important role as a bastion at the point of the castle where there was no second ring of walls for defense.

According to the memories of the older inhabitants, the fortified granary had various uses over the centuries: Town hall, school, sexton’s apartment and community room.

Today, the room houses a local history room. It also serves as a meeting place for the small Protestant community.

HU – A BÁSTYA

A belső gyűrűfalból nyugaton kiálló erődített magtár eredetileg két funkciót töltött be. Egyfelől a készletek raktáraként szolgált ostrom esetén, másfelől bástyaként fontos szerepet játszott a várnak azon a pontján, ahol nem volt második védőfalgyűrű.

Az idősebb lakosok visszaemlékezései szerint a védelmi raktárnak az évszázadok során különböző felhasználási módjai voltak: Városháza, iskola, sekrestyéslakás és közösségi helyiség.

Ma a helyiségben helytörténeti szalon működik. Emellett a kis protestáns közösség találkozóhelyeként is szolgál.
